Beginner Embroidery

If you’ve never embroidered or if it’s been a while and you couldn’t tell your running stitch from your backstitch, this is the class for you! This is truly a basics workshop. We’ll go over the materials needed for embroidery, how to use them, where to buy them, and how to store them. We’ll then start embroidering! Following a demo of four basic stitches (running, backstitch, split, and chain), you’ll practice with a sampler pattern. Once you feel comfy with the stitches, you’ll pick from three beginner patterns for your final piece: melting ice, a raining rainbow, or nope Feel free to bring your favorite beverage to enjoy while crafting. We have glasses available, no need to bring disposables.
