Draw Your Pet!

Bring a photo of your favorite pet and learn how to turn it into a finished drawing! In this beginner-friendly, 2-hour guided drawing class, you’ll explore how artists use shape, form, and texture to create believable animals. We’ll start with short, easy tutorials that help you see the basic shapes hidden inside an animal’s body. Then, using pencil or ink pen, you’ll build a drawing of your own pet by following a simple drawing formula—starting with the main shapes and gradually adding details, features, and textures. No drawing experience is required! You’ll receive guided instruction throughout the entire class, with each step broken down into approachable techniques you can use right away. By the end, you’ll leave with a drawing of your pet, new skills for drawing from photographs, greater confidence in your abilities, and a practical method you can use to draw animals and everyday objects. Just bring a photo of your pet and come ready to draw!
