Egg Hunt & Art Class

Celebrate the start of spring with this Center City egg hunt for kids 1- 5 years old, followed by two spring themed crafts and a story! Join us at Fitler Square Park for Steam Engines Learning Co.'s first outdoor event of the year! In order to keep this hunt fair and square, it's only open to children 12 months through five years old. We're also making sure little ones all get the same amount off eggs- 5 each! Fresh air, fun treats, and educational crafts with your neighbors Art Class: Our first art project will be a rabbit habitat, teaching children where the bunnies have been all winter and how they kept warm. Then we'll read a story about spring, and we'll paint a litter of baby bunnies with pompoms or our fingers. Please remember, the hunt will take place in the grass, and the art class afterward will get messy. If you're planning to dress your child up, please cosider an undershirt/leggings underneath their clothes, so they can get messy in art class after finding their treats! Art class will take place on picnic blankets/ sheets laid in the grass, so please consider the physical abilities of any grownups you invite. You're welcome to bring along a lawn chair with your picnic blanket!
