Keepsake Embroidery Workshop

Please join Kim from Anchor.Trail and 8th and Ash for our May Embroidery workshop: Keepsake Embroidery “Forever is composed of nows” - Emily Dickinson Do you want to preserve your child’s handwriting, maybe a sweet note from a loved one, how about a short recipe, or a tiny hand print? During this embroidery class, we will learn how to transfer our writing to the fabric, basic stitch options for embroidery, and how to finish off our hoops for displaying. All will be taught step by step with hands on instruction as we move through your personalized project. No previous embroidery experience is necessary. All materials will be provided for class and to take home: - 4in embroidery hoop (decorative) - Embroidery fabric - Embroidery needle - Embroidery needle threader - All thread necessary for the project - Scissors - Ribbon for embellishment if desired **please bring your handwriting to class** we will learn how to transfer the image/writing to our fabric. Cost: only $45/person via Venmo Light snacks will be provided. This event is BYOB Space is limited, please register prior to the event. Payment is required to reserve your seat.
