Kids Summer Workshop Series: Create a Mini Jungle (Ages 6-9!)

Join us on Friday, July 17th from 10–11:30am at STUMP Northern Liberties for Create a Mini Jungle, a hands-on terrarium workshop designed for ages 6–9! In this creative plant workshop, young plant lovers will design and build their very own miniature jungle to take home. Children will learn about tropical plants, explore the shop, and transform a planter into a lush mini jungle using live plants, natural materials, and fun miniature decorations. Workshop Details: • A fun and interactive workshop designed specifically for children ages 6–9 • We’ll begin with a little plant exploration around the shop where we’ll learn about tropical plants, where they grow, and what they need to thrive • Children will get to see a variety of tropical plants up close and learn about sunlight, water, roots, leaves, and plant growth • Each participant will choose from a selection of tropical plants and build their own mini jungle arrangement • Kids will personalize their creations with miniature accessories, natural materials, and decorative elements to create a one-of-a-kind jungle scene • We’ll finish the workshop by learning how to care for our plants at home so they can continue to grow and thrive!
