Kids Summer Workshop Series: Paint & Plant (Ages 4-6!)

Join us on Friday, July 10th from 10–11:30am at STUMP Northern Liberties for a Paint & Plant Workshop designed for ages 4–6! In this hands-on workshop, little plant lovers will decorate their own planter, explore the wonderful world of plants, and pot up a new green friend to take home. Through creativity, discovery, and hands-on learning, we’ll spend the morning painting, exploring, and planting together. Workshop Details: • A fun and interactive workshop designed specifically for children ages 4–6 • We’ll begin by painting and decorating our own terracotta pots using a variety of colors and brushes • While our pots dry, we’ll head out on a plant exploration around the shop to learn about different kinds of plants, how they grow, and what makes each one unique • Children will get to see a variety of tropical plants up close and learn about the basics of sunlight, water, roots, leaves, and plant growth • Once our painted pots are dry, we’ll gather back together and each child will choose a plant from our selection of beginner plants to pot up in their newly decorated planter • We’ll finish the workshop by learning how to care for our plants at home so they can continue to grow and thrive!
