Legacy Lunches: The Philadelphia Ten

Join us for a casual lecture, pizza lunch, and mixed media collage session! The Philadelphia Ten were a group of women painters and sculptors who disrupted the art world by working and exhibiting together, as they were one of the first all female groups to do so. Their work encompassed both painting and sculpture. While we enjoy a pizza lunch, our teacher Amy will give a short lecture on the Philadelphia Ten. We’ll cover their artwork and their impact on the art world. Afterwards, we will work on mixed media collages of the Philadelphia skyline. This event is BYOB. Feel free to bring your favorite beverage to enjoy while crafting. We have glasses available, no need to bring disposables.
