Noticing Nature in The Neighborhood

Keep connected to nature just beyond your doorstep! Our neighborhoods are full of natural wonders if we take the time to notice. In this class, you will learn new ways to sketch, note-take, and intentionally observe the life growing out our windows. We’ll start with an intentional 2-block stroll to the park. There, we’ll learn how to collect and record nature observations, questions, connections, and explanations in our notebooks using words, pictures, and numbers. We’ll head back to the studio for the second half of the class to sketch items we’ve collected and learn new techniques to capture your nature observations throughout the year.
