
Online Safety for Young Families
1) A workshop for parents hosted by the cybersecurity professionals at The Cyber Cave. This will be an intimate discussion about keeping our little ones safe in today’s digital world. Topics covered will include: -Everyday online safety for kiddos ages 2-6 -Early signs of online harassment or unsafe interactions -Preventing “stranger danger” and protecting personal information -How to encourage kindness and healthy screen habits from the start *All attendees will receive cyber safety tips and a take-home digital guidebook right to their inbox after the session* 2) Tech-themed arts and crafts with Tr. Erica will be offered to keep little ones entertained while parents engage in the workshop. Kids will also have the option to create open-ended projects or work on a jigsaw puzzle. 3) A lunch of plain cheese pizza and healthy snacks will be offered. Families are welcome to bring their own nut-free lunch and snacks to the event. 4) The final half-hour will be open for free play and socializing among children and their grownups.
