Tin Embossing Workshop

Metal embossing is a craft dating as far back as the 1700s, and is found in cultures around the globe. In this hands-on workshop, attendees will learn how to work with lightweight metal foil to emboss designs of their choice. You’ll be guided step-by-step, exploring basic embossing techniques and experimenting with texture and patterns. We’ll supply all materials and tools. You’ll be working with craft foil in various colors, embossing tools, and design templates. Attendees are encouraged to make as many pieces as time allows! These could include tin covered matchboxes, small decorative wall hangings, bookmarks, or even picture frames. Event is BYOB. Feel free to bring your favorite beverage to enjoy while crafting
