Join us on Saturday, June 27th from 6:30–8pm at STUMP Northern Liberties for an Upcycled Terrarium Workshop! ✨ Dive into a hands-on build-your-own terrarium workshop led by shopkeeper Caty, where you’ll bring in your favorite terrarium glass or repurposed glassware to craft beautiful, sustainable creations ♻️ This class is open to all levels of experience with plants 〰️ everyone welcome :) DETAILS: • A hands-on class with group instruction to build your own unique terrarium to take home with you 🌿 • You’ll learn about the types of plants that thrive in terrarium environments and how to choose the right combination for your design • Each attendee will gather 3–4 ferns and tropical plants of choice and learn to plant their own terrariums with instruction • You’ll explore the art of layering: from creating a base of drainage materials to adding soil and plants of your choice (optional: BYO cute miniatures or use our driftwood, stones + more to decorate with earth-friendly decor) ✨ • Bring your own (clean) glassware from home—terrarium container, mason jar, apothecary jar, coffee pot, fishbowl, unique thrifted vessel 〰️ you name it 🫙 Ideally, the opening should be wide enough to fit your hand through (we’ll have tools for smaller openings too). A lid is not required for a successful terrarium. • Each terrarium will be personalized to your style.
