Beginning Embroidery

If you’ve never embroidered or if it’s been a while and you couldn’t tell your running stitch from your backstitch, this is the class for you! We’ll go over the materials needed for embroidery, how to use them, and how to store them. Following a demo of four basic stitches (running, backstitch, split, and chain), you’ll practice with a sampler pattern. Once you feel comfy with the stitches, you’ll pick from three beginner patterns for your final piece.
