Intro to Thread Painting

In this three hour workshop, we will explore how to create depth and texture using thread. Using a nature-inspired pattern, we will consider the natural movement of light and shadow to practice blending color, while improving our understanding of how to create movement and direction with our stitches. We will practice with a variety of stitch types to work up to the skills needed to walk away confident in thread painting.
