SONGWRITERS AT TEA

Sunday, September 13th | 5 – 8 pm . . . at RTR Hesitating to call Songwriters at Tea a "showcase," let's strive for something a bit more informal: this hangout will feature original songs from four emerging Philly-area songwriters, bringing a range of aesthetics, from bardic contemplation to soulful celebration. It will be completely unplugged, and unpretentious, an intimate immersion into the music of these talented, up-and-coming artists. Jenn, Ben, Kadaysha and Chris will set the vibe, for sure, with their acoustic offerings . . . so enjoy a cup of some of the best tea around, and take in the sounds! Bring a book or a sketch pad. Do some networking, enjoy a light conversation. Ease yourself into the atmosphere of this cozy, amazing space known as the Random Tea Room, and acquaint yourself with some local singer-songwriters doing their best to soothe, groove, and inspire!! This is a free event but donations for performers are strongly encouraged, thank you!
