This Weekend in Philadelphia: Pride Kickoff, a Phillies Tailgate, and First Friday
Published June 4, 2026

Pride weekend kicks off in Philadelphia with 41 events on the calendar from Friday, June 5 through Sunday, June 7 — 19 of them free. It's also First Friday, the Phillies play a 4:05 game on Saturday, and playdate is throwing its own tailgate-style watch party at Libertee Grounds with drink specials, vendors, lawn games, and a free drink for the first 50 people. The shortlist below covers a Friday food pop-up in Mt. Airy, a board game cafe's first birthday, a gallery debut, a sound bath open house, two Pride picks, and a Sunday coffee walk — a spread across all three days with four free entries.
