Published October 21, 2026

Philadelphia has 86 events on the calendar for October 23–25, and 37 of them are free. Friday opens with the last Graveyard Movie Nights at Historic Gloria Dei of the year: Hocus Pocus (1993) at 6:30 in the church's historic cemetery on South Swanson Street, with free popcorn, your own chair, and your own food and drinks welcome, at $10 a person or $25 a family. Mister John's Music covers both ends of the age range, with a child-free party Friday night and Mister John's 4th Annual GIANT Halloween Block Party at 8th & Fulton on Saturday from 10 to 2. The eight picks below run from Friday night through Sunday evening, and five of them are free.
